HP Touchpad – 1 Month

About a month ago, I was one of the lucky ones to pick up a $99 HP Touchpad.  I wrote before that I dodged a bullet not buying it earlier.  Why did I go ahead and buy it?  For $99, let me just tell you that it was well worth the price.  If I had to choose between a $99 Touchpad and a $499 iPad 2, I would definitely go with the $99 Touchpad.  Yes, the iPad has more apps and yes the hardware is amazing on the iPad, but as far as overall value, you can’t be the $99 price point.  Your mileage may vary but for my own use, I mainly use it for surfing the web and playing the occasional casual game for killing time.  Even though I love WebOS, I may wait for the Android port to be fully baked.
