Portland: First full day report
Posted January 23, 2009
After that we proceeded down the scenic route, stopping by little short hikes along the way. I saw quite a number of water falls. The weather was quite cold, around 35 F, especially when I had just flown in from Southern California the previous night. Here are some pictures from our hike.

After getting back and having an afternoon nap, we went to eat sushi at the place my friend Ben has been telling us about for a little while. I finally was going to confirm that the legends was true. We went to Saburo’s to eat some sushi. I must say that it was well worth the hype. The sushi was fresh but the portions were huge and the price was very decent. Overall a good day. Portland is a beautiful place. I will be visiting the city tomorrow and just hanging out. We will end tomorrow by going to a Portland Trailblazers’ game. That should be exciting. Oh yeah, tonight was especially good because I got to talk to the wife via Skype. She’s in Taiwan right now visiting her sister. Until tomorrow.
